Bi3 are the sole UK distributor of Davantis video analytics, working from Preston Technology Centre in Lancashire since 2009. Alongside perimeter detection they supply anti-tailgating, access control and business intelligence solutions, supported by an in-house technical team covering system design, machine building, commissioning and ongoing support.

DFUSION dual-engine detection resolved at source

DFUSION runs a dual-engine architecture, with deep learning and deterministic algorithms operating in parallel and cross-verifying each event. Detection is settled at the point of capture instead of by filtering afterwards. Performance holds up in low light, adverse weather and where vegetation moves in wind.

First system to achieve NPSA accreditation

DFUSION holds NPSA accreditation, formerly CPNI, and was the first AI-integrated video analytics system to achieve it. That approval permits use as a primary detection method on UK government, military and national infrastructure sites. Procurement on those projects requires the accreditation before a product can be considered.

Only video analytics system "Secured by design"

Davantis is the only video analytics system carrying Secured by Design accreditation, the UK police initiative that tests security products before recommending them. The testing is carried out independently of the manufacturer against a defined police standard. Specifiers and insurers recognise the standard, which supports the case for the system during design review.

Works with existing infrastructure and systems

DFUSION overlays onto cameras already installed and integrates with the major VMS, CMS and PSIM platforms. No camera replacement is required to add accredited perimeter analytics. An existing recording system is converted into an actively monitored perimeter at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Server-grade analytics on deployable towers

The HVOD Eco is a compact, power-optimised unit that runs DFUSION on rapid deployment CCTV towers, including continuous operation on off-grid solar towers. Server-grade, NPSA-level analytics become available on temporary and remote installations. Construction sites, solar farms and compounds receive the same standard of detection as fixed sites.

Design, technical and support in the UK

Bi3 maintain their own technical team at Preston Technology Centre covering system design, in-house machine building, commissioning and after-sales support, and publish a site planning tool for project visualisation and camera capability checks. Technical support is UK-based and available in the same working day.
