Secure Logiq’s design guarantee covers any shortfall in storage or processing at their own expense. Sizing risk on a large surveillance system therefore sits with the manufacturer, and the customer receives hardware specified correctly at the point of purchase, with most quotations returned within 24 hours.

Evidence at tender stage before purchasing hardware
Logiqal Benchmark builds a virtual replica of an entire IP surveillance system, including a camera replicator, and reports whether the proposed hardware copes with the load. Evidence of suitability is available at tender stage, and the camera replicator removes a substantial amount of set-up time during testing. Specification decisions are then supported by measured throughput and storage data.
Remote fault resolution even if OS is unresponsive
IPMI out-of-band management provides full remote access to a server even when its operating system is unresponsive. A significant proportion of faults are therefore diagnosed and cleared from the office without an engineer attending site. Sites in remote locations or with restricted access are returned to service more quickly.
Estate-wide monitoring on all hardware
Healthcheck Pro is preinstalled on all hardware and reports the health of every Secure Logiq server across a customer’s estate to a single screen. Failing disks, rising temperatures and RAID degradation are raised as early warnings well before recording is affected. Remedial work is then scheduled into planned maintenance visits.
Hardware built for continuous high-throughput video
These servers are designed around continuous high-throughput video writing rather than general IT workloads. Modern RAID design and stream optimisation mean one unit routinely replaces several conventional CCTV servers. Rack space, power draw and cooling load reduce in proportion, which is reflected directly in a customer’s running costs.
Assembled and tested by hand in the UK
Every unit is hand-assembled in the UK from enterprise components, then soak, load and stress tested before despatch. Redundant power supplies, dual SSDs in RAID1 and hot-spare disks are standard on Enterprise units. Continuous recording reliability is the primary requirement of any surveillance server.
World-wide warranty and direct support
Enterprise products carry a five-year next business day onsite warranty world-wide, with a minimum three-year advance replacement across the range. There is no OEM intermediary in the supply chain. Support is provided directly by the manufacturer, whose team also understands the VMS running on the hardware.
