ATEC’s dedication to quality service has driven the electronic security systems integrator’s constant push for certification. While it already holds a wide variety of internationally recognised certifications, ATEC is currently working towards further awards to provide increased advantages for the company and its clients.
“All of the standards are important, not just because our clients require them but because they have become integral to how ATEC designs, plans and executes the services we provide,” explains Richard Bancroft, Compliance and HR Manager at ATEC. “It’s the framework around how we do business and ensures that we fulfil both ours and our clients’ requirements in a professional and compliant manner. It gives our clients the confidence to invest in ATEC as a trusted business partner.”
ATEC currently maintains ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO45001 H & S Management System certifications. These internationally recognised standards define the fundamental compliance requirements for the business which virtually all of ATEC’s clients require it to maintain. In implementing these standards, the company demonstrates to its clients that it has the systems in place (which are externally verified via independent audits) to manage an effective business.
From a technical security perspective, ATEC currently maintains NSI NACOSS Gold Certification through the NSI (National Security Inspectorate) this is a technical standard for the security industry covering the specific requirements for installing and maintaining security systems. This is industry recognised as an assurance to clients that ATEC can design install and maintain security systems to the required standards.
Alongside those international standards ATEC also maintains Constructionline Gold and Safecontractor Certification which are more health and safety evidential portal-based certificates and Cyber Essentials Plus, an audited accreditation for information security. These again are a demonstration that the company has the systems, skills and expertise within the business to deliver its contracts in a safe manner.
